Our Team:

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Building Services Design Engineer to join our Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Design Team. As a key member of our team, you will work with long-standing clients across various sectors, including commercial, retail, public sector, education, health, and residential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake site visits to conduct technical due diligence, capture information to inform MEP design, and monitor installation and commissioning.
  • Investigate and provide technical advice on factors affecting building services, including user needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Research new design processes, building legislation, and technology.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives by undertaking energy analysis and thermal modeling and conducting research.

Requirements:

  • BSc / BEng (Hons) or MSc / MEng in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Interest in sustainability and net zero carbon, ideally with some understanding in sustainable design or building physics and associated software.
  • Full Clean Driving Licence.
  • Willingness to travel by car and/or public transport in support of day-to-day work.
  • Interest in achieving commercial sustainability qualifications such as Low Carbon Consultant, BREEAM, WELL.
