Church and Christian Engagement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Church and Christian Engagement Specialist to join our team at NFP People. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading children's charity, helping to bring lasting change to millions of children around the world.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with churches and Christian communities, engaging them in our work and inspiring them to support our mission. This will involve using our existing resources and campaigns to connect with churches and individuals, and sharing our work in a way that is relevant and compelling to our audience.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience in fundraising or sales. They will be able to work independently, managing their own workload and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. A good understanding of the UK church and Christian landscape is essential, as is the ability to work within our organization's Christian mission, values, and culture.
Key Responsibilities- Building and maintaining relationships with churches and Christian communities
- Using existing resources and campaigns to engage churches and individuals
- Sharing our work in a way that is relevant and compelling to our audience
- Managing a caseload of engaged church contacts to meet or exceed annual fundraising and acquisition goals
- Maintaining records and using our CRM system to track income and financial management
