Role Overview

The Lancaster University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Associate Dean for Engagement. This senior leadership role is a unique opportunity to shape the Faculty's approach to Engagement and inspire colleagues in the delivery of these initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide academic leadership for the Faculty in all aspects of Engagement.
  • Lead on strategic projects and management of Engagement processes and committees.
  • Promote and develop a culture of engagement and promote the FST subject areas through Engagement.

Requirements

  • Existing members of academic staff within the Faculty.
  • Contract of employment at the University which extends for at least 4 years upon appointment to the role of AD.

Benefits

  • Non-superannuable salary supplement equivalent in value to one (for a Professor) or two (for a Senior Lecturer) increment(s) on their salary scale.
  • Associate Dean allowance to support research, knowledge transfer, scholarly activity, or educational enhancement.
