About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Specialist Palliative Care Nurse to join our Palliative Care Hospital Liaison Team. As part of our multidisciplinary service, you will provide expert specialist palliative care for patients with life-limiting illnesses within hospital settings.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop partnerships with members of the Multidisciplinary Team to provide seamless palliative care services.
  2. Provide clinical professional support, resources, and education to team members as needed.
  3. Work collaboratively with other professionals to promote and develop the ethos of Palliative Care within the Trust and local community.
Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nurse
  • Diploma/Degree level of study
  • Registered Mentor
  • Teaching qualification or equivalent
  • Supplementary prescribing qualification
  • Diploma in Palliative/Cancer Care
  • Community nursing experience
