The successful candidate will be responsible for efficient administration in all aspects of patient appointment booking and reception duties, processing referral forms, and responding to face-to-face, telephone, and email enquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient appointment bookings and reception duties with accuracy and attention to detail
- Process referral forms and liaise with healthcare professionals regarding imaging reports and appointments
- Respond to enquiries in a professional and empathetic manner, providing excellent customer service
- Manage workload effectively and support administrative colleagues in meeting departmental objectives
- Work with CRIS and PACS computer systems to ensure seamless data management
- Assist in the smooth and efficient running of Radiology services, including image transferring between hospitals
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and IT skills, with the ability to use initiative and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive experience for patients and healthcare professionals
- Reliable and professional, with the ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is desirable
- Previous experience in a healthcare administrative role is desirable
- The ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
