Job Description

We are searching for a motivated and empathetic Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support children with complex needs, such as autism, and speech, language & communication challenges.

Key Tasks
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to design engaging learning activities for students
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students
  • Establish trust and rapport with students
  • Apply practical strategies to meet individual student needs
  • Cultivate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Display empathy, compassion, and active listening
  • Work one-to-one and in small groups with students
  • Evaluate and maintain the safety and well-being of students
Basic Requirements
  • Licence to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship required)
  • Enhanced DBS or international police certificate (if applicable)
Work Schedule and Pay

Term-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm

£85-£110 per day
