Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our cash office team as a Cash Office Retail Assistant. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for managing cash handling, performing spot checks, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize floats, cash up, and balance tills to ensure seamless customer experience
- Perform spot checks on all tills to ensure adequate change and maintain accurate records
- Complete cash lifts with security and management to ensure cash handling procedures are followed
- Conduct safety checks on cash coming in or going out, balance petty cash floats, and account for all cash at the end of each day
- Support the store by running reports to analyze performance and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Honest and trustworthy with a strong understanding of cash handling procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve store goals
- High levels of motivation and a positive attitude
