About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Advisor to join our client's growing team in the Multi-Utility sector. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, quality, and environmental matters within the business are managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Health and Safety best practice, ensuring compliance with current legislation and industry standards.
  • Work closely with management to establish and maintain a safe working environment for colleagues and clients.
  • Advise on and assist in the planning and promotion of health, safety, environment, and quality programs.
  • Conduct regular site, compound, and CDM audits to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with the SHEQ Department on all health, safety, environment, and quality matters.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on health, safety, quality, and environmental matters.
  • Promote the reporting of near misses throughout the company.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH/NCRQ Level 6 (NVQ Level 5 as a minimum standard)
  • EUSR or CSCS in a related subject
  • NRSWA (SWQR)
  • Working knowledge of HSG47
  • Power/Fibre/Water/Gas experience
  • Proficient in Accident/Incident investigation and RCA
  • Proficient in data analysis and compiling reports
  • Experience in a construction/utility-related similar role
  • Competent in core standard Microsoft Software
