Job Description

As a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse in our emergency department, you will play a critical role in the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the department senior sister/charge nurse in assessing priorities and staffing requirements.
  • Designated responsibility for the management of the unit on a day-to-day basis.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
  • Monitoring standards of quality nursing care.

You will also be expected to contribute to the ongoing development of ED nursing, promoting best practices and evidence-based care. As a key member of the team, you will be supported by our full-time practice development team and excellent senior nursing team.
