This exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Junior Sister to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our nursing team.
You will have the chance to work closely with our sister unit, the Local Neonatal Unit at Princess Royal University Hospital, and participate in cross-site working opportunities as part of your development in the Junior Sister role.

Key Responsibilities- To plan, manage, and coordinate clinical care for high-risk babies and their families, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- To lead and develop a team of nurses within the NICU, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- To act as a clinical resource and link nurse within the unit and across the Care Group, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- To contribute to the development of our nursing team, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance patient care and staff development.
- To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Previous experience of leading change in the clinical environment, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong clinical expertise and relevant skills, including communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
