Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Chief Officer to join our team at the Health Service Executive. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in supporting and working collaboratively with our Management Board/Secretariat to plan, develop, and implement cross-border health and social care policy and project delivery across the CAWT partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Chief Officer in leading the CAWT Management Board/Secretariat in planning, development, and implementation of cross-border health and social care policy and project delivery.
- Work collaboratively with CEOs, Directors, and Assistant Directors, funders, and DOH officials to deliver cross-border projects.
- Act as CAWT Executive lead for major, innovative cross-border projects across 2 jurisdictions (NI / Ireland).
- Provide business advice, interpretation of Funder Programme Rules, and direction to Project Board members.
- Manage a number of staff within the CAWT Development Centre and projects.
- Deputise for the Chief Officer across a range of duties, including day-to-day management of the CAWT Development Centre team as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading cross-border health and social care projects.
- Strong business acumen and ability to provide strategic advice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, independently, and autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
