IT Service Desk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Service Desk Manager to join our team at Education Support Professionals Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service desk, mentoring a team of support technicians, and implementing best practices to optimise service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the service desk team to ensure excellent customer service and technical support
  • Develop and implement service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure service desk performance
  • Collaborate with the IT team to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery
  • Provide training and development opportunities to the service desk team to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and report on service desk performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in IT service management, preferably in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication, organisation and team management skills
  • Strong technical background and knowledge of IT service management principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and support
