Senior Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our client's team in Derby. With a strong background in engineering and project management, you will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle in a custom fabrication and manufacturing environment.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will bring technical expertise, commercial awareness, and strong leadership to ensure successful project execution. You will work closely with the project management team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in line with company objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a project management qualification, at least 5 years of hands-on experience in a closely related industry, and a strong understanding of the commercial aspects of business. You will also have experience in client-facing roles, including gathering initial project briefs, coordinating with all relevant parties, and confidently presenting and negotiating with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
  • Developing and implementing project plans
  • Monitoring and reporting project progress
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
