About The Role

Priority Childcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at our welcoming home in Blaen Y Waun. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as shift leader and assist in ensuring service standards are maintained.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and assist in reporting and evidence gathering activities.
  • Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to promote and celebrate home achievements.
  • Participate in assessment, development, and review of support and care plans.

Requirements

  • Experience in a support environment.
  • Driving License.
  • QCF level 3 qualified or working towards.
  • Knowledge of statutory regulations.
  • Lead by example and always act as a positive role model.
  • Able to understand and adhere to relevant safeguarding.
  • Good awareness of conducting Health and Safety risk assessments.
