Childcare Support Specialist

This is a full-time position, working 39 hours a week plus sleep ins, with an hourly rate of £11.60-£12.50 dependent on qualifications and experience.

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Childcare Support Specialists to join our team and make a difference in the lives of these incredible children. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to the children and young people we support, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to children and young people, promoting their independence and encouraging them to reach their full potential.
- Work together with other professionals to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including meal preparation, and contribute to the smooth operation of the home.

Requirements
- A can-do attitude and resilient nature.
- Previous care experience preferred but not essential.
- Current valid drivers license required due to remote location with no public transport nearby.
- Compassion and empathy.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and be reliable.
Please note that this role involves regulated activity with children and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
