Ingeus UK, part of the global human services provider APM Group, is seeking a skilled Mental and Physical Health Specialist to join our team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for qualified clinicians to embark on a new career path as a Functional Assessor. As a Mental and Physical Health Specialist, you will conduct health and disability assessments to understand each individual's unique needs.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct thorough health and disability assessments to determine an individual's ability to perform daily tasks.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for submission to the Department of Work and Pensions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality service to claimants and contribute to the continued improvement and excellence of health assessment services in the UK.
As a successful candidate, you will have:
Essential Qualifications and Experience- At least 12 months of post-registration experience gained in the UK as an NMC registered nurse or HCPC registered paramedic, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist.
- Experience treating a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
The estimated salary for this role is £40,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include:
