Catering Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Catering Supervisor to join our team at Hartpury University. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and deliver high-quality hospitality services in a diverse and complex operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team, delegate tasks, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the site.
  • Set up buffets or other dining areas, clean and sanitize dining tables, crockery, and cutlery.
  • Till work, serving customers, and cashing up.
  • Participate in trade shows to promote our catering services.
  • Receive and unload deliveries, manage buffet stations, and refill empty chafing dishes as required.
  • Pack up all catering equipment, dishes, and leftover food after events have concluded.
  • Support in monthly stock takes and basic food preparation in the kitchen.
  • Prepare public-facing areas, including set up for hospitality events, and conduct regular team briefs and safety briefs as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous supervisory/team leader experience is desirable.
  • A confident team leader and an excellent team player.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A DBS check will be required for this role.
