About the Service - Treatment & Recovery Services

Our treatment and recovery services offer tailored support to help people challenge dependency. We understand that recovery from dependency is a personal process, and we provide effective therapeutic support and ongoing support as life progresses. We also help people connect with their communities and other services that can support them with employment, housing, family relationships, mental health, and more.

About the Job

The Asset Coach role is a core part of delivering a recovery-focussed service in York. You will work with people who are seeking help with substance use issues, providing specialist tailored support to help them achieve their goals. You will work with people who have experienced a range of issues related to their substance use and may also present with complexity around other issues such as mental health, housing, trauma, and criminal justice.

The nature of the support you will provide may vary from case to case and will depend on the needs of the individual and their particular circumstances. You will work towards progressing beyond treatment and achieving a sustainable quality of life for the client.
