Job Title: Head of Strategic Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven individual to join our team as a Head of Strategic Finance. This is a 12-month contract, reporting to our highly experienced and well-respected Finance Director.

About the Role:

This is a pivotal time of change for our organisation, and we are looking for someone who can lead our financial strategy and manage a team of four. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading crucial system improvement projects and making a significant impact on our financial direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with our organisational goals.
  • Lead a team of four and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of financial projects.
  • Manage and improve financial systems and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
