About the Role
As an Academic Head of Year, you will be responsible for leading the Year Team, developing and implementing academic strategies, and fostering a positive learning environment. You will provide exceptional support to students, promote academic excellence, and contribute to the overall success of Thornhill Academy.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the Year Team to deliver outstanding academic results
• Develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes and engagement
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive school community
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents and carers

Requirements
• Proven experience as an academic leader or in a similar role
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of curriculum development and delivery
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Compensation and Benefits
• Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
