We are seeking a reliable and caring Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead Leek & Moorlands. As a Care Assistant, you will provide support to individuals living in their own home, promoting their independence and well-being.
Responsibilities- Perform household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and tidying.
- Make or assist with making your client's favourite meals.
- Offer companionship and social support, engaging with your client's hobbies and getting to know them.
- Support with personal care tasks such as showering, washing hair, and getting changed.
- Taking clients out to places of their choice, such as local shops or a café.
- Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care and comfort.
- Write accurate daily notes, keeping up strong communication with the office.
- Administer medication and record appropriately.
- No experience is required; we offer comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience is an advantage.
- You must have a full driver's licence and dependable transportation for various duties.
- You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
- Must have a caring, friendly personality.
- £12.50-£13.50 per hour, doubled on bank holidays, plus 30p per mile.
- Access to early pay.
- No uniform, stay comfortable in casual dress.
- PAID face-to-face training plus opportunities for further development.
