About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead Leek & Moorlands. As a Care Assistant, you will provide support to individuals living in their own home, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Perform household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and tidying.
  • Make or assist with making your client's favourite meals.
  • Offer companionship and social support, engaging with your client's hobbies and getting to know them.
  • Support with personal care tasks such as showering, washing hair, and getting changed.
  • Taking clients out to places of their choice, such as local shops or a café.
  • Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care and comfort.
  • Write accurate daily notes, keeping up strong communication with the office.
  • Administer medication and record appropriately.
Requirements
  • No experience is required; we offer comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience is an advantage.
  • You must have a full driver's licence and dependable transportation for various duties.
  • You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
  • Must have a caring, friendly personality.
