About Us

At Home Instead Senior Care Leek & Moorlands, we provide support to individuals living in their own homes. We offer a range of contracts involving visits to clients in Leek and the surrounding area.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and caring individual to make a difference in our clients' lives. You must have flexibility to work alternate weekends. No experience is required, just a friendly personality and the right values.

Responsibilities

  • Perform household tasks, such as light cleaning, laundry, and tidying.
  • Assist with meal preparation and offer companionship and social support, engaging with clients' hobbies and interests.
  • Support with personal care tasks, such as showering, washing hair, and getting changed.
  • Take clients out to places of their choice, such as the local shops or a café.
  • Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones, offering high-quality care and comfort.
  • Record accurate daily notes and maintain strong communication with the office.
  • Administer medication and record appropriately.

Requirements

  • No experience is required, as we offer comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience, either professional or personal, is an advantage.
  • You must have a full driver's licence and dependable transportation for various duties.
  • You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
  • A caring, friendly personality is essential.
