We are seeking a skilled Catering Supervisor / Team Lead to join our dynamic team at Hartpury University. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team, delegating tasks, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a team and delegating tasks to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the site.
  • Setting up buffets or other dining areas, and cleaning and sanitising dining tables, crockery, and cutlery.
  • Providing excellent customer service, including till work and serving customers, and participating in trade shows to promote the company's catering services.
  • Receiving and unloading deliveries, managing buffet stations, and refilling empty chafing dishes as required.
  • Packing up all catering equipment, dishes, and leftover food after events have concluded, and supporting in monthly stock takes.
  • Assisting management with any other duties that may be required, and supporting in the kitchen when needed for basic food preparation.
  • Preparing any other public-facing areas as required, including set up for hospitality events, and carrying out regular team briefs and safety briefs as required.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory/team leader experience is required, and a confident team leader and an excellent team player.
  • Excellent communication skills, and a DBS check will be required for this role.
