Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Barista to be a part of our team at Hartpury University, GL19 3BE

The new flexible catering hub will be a superb modern facility with state-of-the-art technology and sustainable features, meeting both short and long term demands and objectives of Hartpury to provide a greatly improved catering service to staff and students.

What's in it for you

⦁    Full time – 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, shifts ranging between 9am – 6pm. Part time also considered but must be able to commit to 3 full days per week

What you'll be doing
⦁    Serve food and beverages to customers
⦁    Making hot drinks to costa standards
Making hot and cold drinks to order in a busy environment
⦁    Some basic food preparation
⦁    Operating the till, taking payments and keep any financial records required
⦁    Clean front and back of house areas
⦁    Stocking up and stock rotation
⦁    Opening and closing coffee bar once trained
⦁    Follow food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
⦁    Undertake relevant training as required

 

Experience
⦁    Previous barista experience is essential for this role, ideally Costa trained or similar
⦁    Latte art experience desirable
⦁    Excellent customer service skills and a great team player
⦁    DBS checks required
