Parish Operations Coordinator

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Parish Operations Coordinator to join our team at Derrydiocese.
This is a 1-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension. As a Parish Operations Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to the Parish Operations and Administration Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of the parish office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:
Ensuring accurate financial records are maintained.
Providing administrative support for official parish correspondence.
Maintaining diaries, email correspondence, telephone calls, and other associated administration.
Supporting the parish team with clerical tasks.
Answering telephone calls and greeting visitors as required.
Preparing and printing the weekly Parish Newsletter.
Typing and copying bidding prayers and announcement sheets.
Clerical provision for compiling sacramental programmes.
- Record Keeping:
Ensuring the maintenance of the parishioner database in accordance with GDPR and guidelines.
Estimated Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per year.
