Educational Support Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Educational Support Professional to join our team at Hawley Woods School, an independent specialist day school supporting children and young people with autism spectrum condition and social emotional and mental health needs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to students, promoting positive behaviour, understanding learning objectives, content, and intended outcomes, and monitoring student progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in promoting positive behaviour and understanding learning objectives
  • Assist in planning and implementing lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A passion for supporting young people to learn and develop
  • Experience working within an ASC/SEN setting
  • An ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits:
