About the Job:

Kedleston Group Ltd is seeking a talented Educational Support Professional to join our team at Hawley Woods School and Fernways School. The successful candidate will work as a key member of our multidisciplinary team, supporting the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and young people with Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN) and complex needs associated with additional learning needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload and working flexibly, providing therapy services to children and young people according to clinical need and in close liaison with the highly specialist clinical team covering both schools. You will participate actively in multi-disciplinary meetings, staff meetings, supervision, training, and annual appraisals.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • a degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent
  • UK HCPC Registration, and eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
  • successful post-registration practice and experience with young people (ideally experience of working with children with ASC needs)
  • working knowledge of Child Protection and Safeguarding Legislation and other legislation.

We offer a competitive salary of £58,000 per annum, plus benefits including a comprehensive induction programme, regular Clinical Supervision, continued professional development and training, and access to clinical assessments and resources. Our schools provide a supportive environment with a dedicated Speech and Language Therapy room, an Occupational Therapy room, an ELSA room, and a functional life skills room.
