About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the marketing and communications team at the University of Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum. As a key member, you will provide vital support across a range of external and internal marketing activities in digital and print media.

You will be responsible for managing the department's day-to-day activities on the website and social media channels. The role involves working with a variety of research, education, public engagement, and commercial activities, requiring a flexible team player who can adapt to a fast-changing work environment.

The post is permanent, full-time, working 37.5 hours per week. Job share and part-time working (80% of full-time hours) can be considered for the right candidate. A hybrid working model is in place, with the expectation of working on-site at least three days a week. Occasional weekend/evening work may be required.

About You

While expertise in plants is not necessary, you will have experience in communications and marketing, particularly in website management, content production, internal communications, and digital communications. Excellent writing skills are essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft applications and Adobe Creative Cloud or similar.

You must be able to work effectively in a complex environment with diverse stakeholders.
