Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Cardiologist to join our team at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and participate in clinical governance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist cardiovascular services to patients, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in clinical governance activities, including clinical audit, effectiveness, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to teaching, training, and research activities, including programmes for clinical students, doctors in training, and clinical examinations.
Requirements
  • A medical degree and relevant postgraduate qualifications.
  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary, estimated to be around £150,000-£200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
