About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Housing Management Coordinator to join our team at Home Group Limited. As a key member of our housing management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' homes are safe and well-maintained.

As a Housing Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing tenancy support to our customers, engaging with them to ensure their properties are homes they can be proud of. You will also assist with housing benefit claims, issue warning letters and notices, and turn around vacant or void rooms and properties within set timescales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a housing management caseload, ensuring that our customers' properties are safe and well-maintained.
  • Provide tenancy support to our customers, engaging with them to ensure their properties are homes they can be proud of.
  • Assist with housing benefit claims, ensuring that these are received on our customers' rent accounts.
  • Issue warning letters and notices, and attend court when necessary.
  • Turn around vacant or void rooms and properties within set timescales.
  • Ensure that we are health and safety compliant and that maintenance standards are met.

Requirements
  • Experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties.
  • Knowledge of re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
  • Able to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to your colleagues.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.
  • A can-do positive attitude, proactive and well-organized, and able to work on your initiative.
