Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist - Acute Ward

An exceptional mental health hospital based in the Bristol area is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their team.

About the Role

This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity for a committed professional to work with a multidisciplinary team, comprising of nurses, healthcare assistants, psychiatrists, and a specialty doctor. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to work independently while contributing to team meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement person-centered treatment plans, and facilitate group and one-to-one work.
  • Work alongside an occupational therapy assistant and provide supervision to occupational therapy staff.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • A relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with the HCPC are essential.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice is required.
