Specialist Occupational Therapy Position at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust

This exciting opportunity is available for an experienced occupational therapist to join our specialist multi-disciplinary team. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will provide specialist assessment and advice, consultation, and liaison with families and local therapy agencies involved in the care of children and young people with gender incongruence and co-occurring conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing a specialised occupational therapy service, including assessment, treatment, and management of children and young people with gender incongruence and co-occurring conditions.
  2. Supporting the wider paediatric occupational therapy team as required.

Qualifications and training required:

  • Degree or equivalent in occupational therapy
  • Registration with HCPC
  • Evidence of relevant post-graduate continuing professional development
  • Further training in a related area (e.g., sensory integration therapy)
  • Registration with RCOT

Salary: £53,755 - £60,504 per annum, depending on experience
