About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Capital Markets Middle Office Specialist to join our team at Wells Fargo Bank. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure seamless trade processing, settlement, and reporting procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive trade support to traders and sales teams, adhering to established Middle Office procedures.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Rates, FX, Credit, Repo, and Treasury functions.
  • Ensure high-quality trade checking and verification, with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Manage Intra-day Risk and P&L reporting, investigating discrepancies between reported and posted P&L.
  • Monitor daily trading exception reports and resolve OPICS trades that require repair.
  • Collaborate with Settlements/Payments functions and Risk and Product Control Departments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate client Derivatives Documentation and participate in system upgrades/testing.
  • Work closely with the Treasury desk on Liquidity Management and Funding.
Requirements
  • Experience in Capital Markets middle office or equivalent, with a strong academic background and knowledge of FX/Rates Cash Securities and OTC Derivatives Middle Office.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in systems such as TOMS/OPICS/CALYPSO/GSF/CATALYST/MARKITWIRE, with advanced Excel and VBA skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple regions and collaborate with international teams.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
