Join Our Team as a Capital Markets Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Capital Markets Analyst to join our team in London. As a Capital Markets Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals by providing expert advice and guidance on capital markets transactions.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing relationships with our fixed income and equity clients
  • Analyzing clients' capital structure needs and potential solutions
  • Developing a deep understanding of the bank and institutional investor universe and the trends that impact these pools of capital
  • Originating, structuring, and executing transactions for both strategic needs (e.g., IPOs and LBOs) and normal course refinancing
  • Originating, marketing, structuring, and executing fixed income and equity transactions
  • Learning how our many products can be used in concert to provide a fulsome solution to the client
  • Managing overall fixed income and equity relationships
  • Demonstrating ways to limit interest rate and credit risk through the use of derivatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To be in your final year of University or have graduated
  • To have achieved or be expected to achieve a 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level in any degree discipline
  • To be fluent in a 2nd language (this is desirable but not essential)
  • To have an interest in business
