Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Organisational Effectiveness Specialist to join our team at Homeless Link.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Homeless Link's back-office functions, ensuring efficient operations in financial controls, marketing, and event planning. This includes managing a shared drive for Homeless Link documents and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Homeless Link's back-office functions, ensuring efficient operations in financial controls, marketing, and event planning.
  • Support and manage the Homeless Support and Fundraising Manager ensuring plans and regular reviews are in place.
  • Keep abreast of current housing legislation, welfare benefit legislations and other matters relevant to successful support of our clients.
  • Manage volunteer and employee training programmes, flagging when training is required or out of date.
  • Build and nurture partnerships with relevant voluntary, police and community organisations, such as job centres, drug and alcohol agencies, and other support services, to integrate Homeless Link's care into a broader network of assistance for those experiencing homelessness.
  • Oversee basic financial management, ensuring proper filing of invoices and careful oversight of expenditures.
  • Ensure any safeguarding concerns are dealt with appropriately and reported in accordance with the charity's safeguarding policy.

The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, good budgetary and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise the workload to meet deadlines.
