Senior Care Assistant Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team on a night shift basis. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to reach their full potential. Your caring and empathetic nature, combined with your passion for delivering great care, will make you an excellent fit for our team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  2. Work collaboratively with our care team to deliver person-centered care, promoting independence and dignity.
  3. Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring residents receive tailored support.
  4. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

What We Offer

As a Senior Care Assistant at Mearns View Care Home, you will enjoy a competitive salary of £12.50-£13.00 per hour (DOE), plus benefits including:

  • Contracted hours: 22-44 hours per week (Nightshift)
  • Pension scheme
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (Based on a full-time contract)
  • PVG
  • Onsite parking

Requirements

We are ideally seeking a Senior Care Assistant with SVQ Level 3 Qualification, but we will consider an experienced Care Assistant who is passionate about gaining further qualifications. Above all, you must possess a genuine interest in caring for the elderly and a caring, empathetic nature.
