Vehicle Repair Center Supervisor

Role Overview: The Workshop Controller is responsible for managing the daily operations of our vehicle repair center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.
Salary: This senior role comes with a salary range of £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, based on experience, plus additional earning potential through performance-related bonuses.
Job Description:
You will work closely with the Service Manager to achieve workshop targets, manage a team of technicians and apprentices, and maintain a safe and professional environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth of our team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality outputs.
- Lead and mentor a team of vehicle technicians and apprentices, providing guidance and coaching to enhance their skills.
- Monitor and analyse performance data to inform decision-making and drive improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare estimates and schedules for servicing and repairs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Essential Requirements:
- Substantial experience in workshop control or similar roles within the automotive industry.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
