Job Summary

Barker Ross is seeking a highly skilled Substance Misuse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the treatment for your allocated caseload, completing care plans, risk assessments, and other relevant paperwork to support the service user.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the treatment for your allocated caseload
  • Complete care plans, risk assessments, and other relevant paperwork
  • Arrange medical interventions as needed
  • Offer psychosocial interventions to support service users
  • Liaise effectively with partnership agencies to ensure continuity of care
  • Undertake assessments and deliver evidence-based substance misuse psychosocial interventions
Requirements
  • Previous experience dealing with case loads and assessments
  • Previous experience within drug and alcohol/substance misuse
  • Good knowledge of medication
  • Experience with system one database
  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care or Tackling Substance Misuse
