As a Dementia Activity Specialist, you'll have the unique opportunity to create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for our residents with dementia at The Highgate Care Home in London. You'll design and deliver bespoke activities that stimulate their minds, spark memories, and promote a sense of belonging.

This role requires a deep understanding of dementia care principles and the ability to adapt activities to meet the complex needs of individuals with varying stages of dementia. You'll work collaboratively with our team to develop a tailored activity programme that caters to the diverse interests and preferences of our residents.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with older adults, particularly those with dementia. You'll possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with people at various stages of cognitive decline. A strong understanding of person-centred care principles, activity programming, and dementia-friendly practices is essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £11 per hour depending on experience, 35 hours per week, shifts from 9:00 - 17:00, and working days between Tuesday - Saturday as required.
