About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Patient Services Assistant to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. As a key member of the ward team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Main Responsibilities
- Work with the ward team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times.
- Regenerate food at ward level, ensuring that the correct temperature is maintained throughout the process.
- Monitor and record fridge temperatures daily, reporting any issues to the relevant authorities.
- Ensure that refrigerated food is labelled and stored correctly.
- Work with the Hotel Services Supervisor and Departmental management to contribute to the maintenance of a clean and hygienic environment.
Requirements
- Demonstrable customer care experience.
- Proven GCSEs in English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and manage deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
