Position Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Mental Health Solicitor to join our esteemed team at Law Staff Ltd. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional with expertise in mental health casework and the ability to work collaboratively within a cohesive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse portfolio of mental health cases, including tribunal representations, and addressing issues related to Section 117 aftercare.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of mental capacity law and Court of Protection matters, along with proven experience in mental health casework, including tribunal representation. They will also demonstrate strong analytical skills, enabling them to develop and implement compliant processes, procedures, and precedents. Our firm prioritises delivering exceptional client service, and we seek a like-minded individual who shares our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling a diverse range of mental health cases, including tribunal representations
  • Addressing issues arising from Section 117 aftercare
  • Developing and implementing efficient processes, procedures, and precedents

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in mental health casework, including tribunal representation
  • A robust understanding of mental capacity law and Court of Protection matters
  • Ability to self-supervise and work effectively within a team
