Cleaning Contracts Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Contracts Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our cleaning staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and to the required schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake daily operational supervision of the cleaning staff.
  • Arrange absence and annual leave cover.
  • Deal with day-to-day telephone calls, enquiries, messages, and complaints.
  • Monitor cleaning duties and ensure they are completed to a high standard.
  • Carry out quality audits and monitor performance.
  • Perform performance management and annual appraisals.
  • Organize refresher and new starter training sessions.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process for new staff.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.

General Cleaning Contract Supervision:

  • Conduct planned, general inspections and create contract performance reports.
  • Maintain stock requirements and monitor stock usage.
  • Liaise with Head Office regarding incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences.
  • Provide quotations for additional or specific works.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all contract administration.
  • Undertake daily checks of all work areas and provide feedback to individuals.

Requirements:

  • Full, clean UK driving license.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a cleaning role.
  • Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience or relevant proven skills.
  • IT skills, including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Good standard of English language skills, arithmetic, and general administration.
  • Ability to work well with existing and future company staff, contractors, and clients.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to provide support and advice, with capability to deliver induction and H&S training.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management.
