As a Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor at Chequers Contract Services Limited, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing cleaning schedules and assigning cleaners to various duties and roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain cleaning standards and procedures for workers.
- Coach and develop employees to ensure they meet required standards.
- Inspect cleaning equipment regularly to identify wear and tear and request replacement when necessary.
- Monitor the usage of cleaning materials to minimize waste and misuse.
- Report any non-compliance or issues to relevant line managers immediately.
- Ensure adherence to company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Be aware of individual and reporting staff's responsibilities regarding the Company's Health and Safety Policy Statement.
- Inform relevant line managers of any accidents at work and complete necessary paperwork.
- Ensure the safe use and care of equipment and materials.
Safeguarding:
As a Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring all safeguarding practices are adhered to and communicated where appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills in speaking, writing, and listening.
- Clear understanding of customer service guidelines and principles.
- Relevant experience in cleaning and supervision of cleaning procedures.
- Previous cleaning experience.
- Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
