The Social Care Department is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join their team as a Children Learning Disability Support Worker. Based in Leyland, this award-winning service provides specialist care for young people with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.

Job Role:

As a Children Learning Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic care and support to residents, assisting with daily living tasks, and promoting independence. You will also maintain accurate records of patient conditions and progress, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
