About the Role

We offer a competitive salary of £23,500 - £28,000 per annum, depending on qualifications, plus £60 per sleep-in. As a Community Support Worker, you will be working with adults who have learning disabilities, mental health issues, or other additional needs. Your role will involve providing daily support to promote independent living, building positive relationships, and supporting individuals in their daily activities.

Responsibilities
  • Work with adults who have learning disabilities, mental health issues, or other additional needs
  • Provide daily support to promote independent living
  • Build positive relationships with service users
  • Support individuals in their daily activities, including walking, football, music, and social events
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or be willing to undertake training
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults or people with learning disabilities (not essential)
  • Strong core values and a positive 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
  • Possession of a driving licence and access to a vehicle (ideal but not essential)
