Teaching Personnel is a leading provider of education recruitment solutions. We are currently seeking to recruit highly motivated and dedicated individuals to work as ASC Support Professionals in primary schools across the Leyland area.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay)

Job Description

We are looking for experienced support staff who can provide one-to-one support to pupils with autism and other special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children with SEN and be able to provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and social interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils throughout the school day, providing individualized attention and care
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the needs of each pupil
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure the smooth integration of pupils into mainstream classes
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attendance
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Psychology, Special Educational Needs)
  • Experience working with children with autism and other SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Possess a valid enhanced DBS certificate
