We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reception Manager to join our team at Heythrop Park Hotel. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving financial success, guest service, and maximizing the potential of the Reception department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and lead the Reception team to ensure all areas of responsibility are covered.
- Take ownership of the Reception team, monitoring consistent delivery of a quality Warner experience in line with the Warner Brand Standards.
- Prepare for guest arrivals and provide support while continually reviewing areas for improvement.
- Confidently deal with guest concerns, resolving problems with empathy and understanding.
- Monitor guest insights and use feedback to drive a culture of improvement.
- Create an environment where every team member is encouraged to learn and grow.
- Provide feedback and coaching to the team, conducting regular coffee chats and reviews.
- Share operational knowledge with the team and develop innovative ways to delight guests and team members.
- Manage compliance with all relevant legislation, company, and Health & Safety policies.
Requirements:
- Understanding of different communication styles and ability to communicate with versatility at all levels.
- High level of operational knowledge specific to the area of expertise and ability to coach team members to thrive.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and engage the team, even in times of high demand.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
- Willingness to challenge if standards aren't meeting required levels.
- Good financial knowledge and ability to manage costs in line with Reception department budgets.
