Make a Difference with the RAF Benevolent Fund

We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team as the Head of Community Fundraising. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a vital role in helping us make a real difference to the lives of those who serve or have served in the RAF.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our community fundraising efforts across the UK, working closely with our current Community Fundraisers to achieve annual targets. You will have excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage budgets and implement annual plans, and the capacity to travel country-wide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Community Fundraisers to achieve annual targets
  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to engage with local communities
  • Manage budgets and ensure financial targets are met
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a cohesive approach to fundraising
  • Travel country-wide to support fundraising events and activities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Strong leadership and management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage budgets and implement annual plansExperience in community fundraising and event managementDBS clearance and the right to work in the UK
