National Key Account Manager Retail Channel

Our client, a leading international group in the packaging industry, is seeking a highly skilled National Key Account Manager to join their team in the UK market. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for managing top clients in the retail space and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve client retention and growth targets;
  • Conduct monthly service performance reporting to ensure client satisfaction;
  • Manage commercial issues and negotiate contracts;
  • Proactively manage contract renewals and lead re-bid responses;
  • Achieve account growth targets by developing new account relationships;
  • Ensure client satisfaction and loyalty through regular reporting and feedback;
  • Provide monthly reports on account performance and progress against targets.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience managing large complex accounts and delivering sales growth;
  • Excellent IT skills in Microsoft packages, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop account plans;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
