Financial Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Manager to join our finance team at DATIM Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a key role in supporting the Finance Director with core day-to-day finance tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of the finance function.
About the Role- Act as a key member of the finance team, working closely with the Finance Director to manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, cash flow, fixed asset records, and accruals & prepayments.
- Maintain the purchase ledger daily, ensuring invoices and credit notes are posted against purchase orders, and supplier accounts are up-to-date.
- Prepare month-end creditors reports and liaise with suppliers to resolve queries and discrepancies.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
Key Responsibilities- Daily maintenance of the purchase ledger, including posting invoices and credit notes, and updating supplier accounts.
- Preparation of month-end creditors reports, including analysis and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements to ledger.
- Daily bank reconciliations and posting of payments and receipts to the general ledger.
- Preparation of month-end accounts for three companies, including journal preparation, entry, and processing of accruals & prepayments.
- Review and documentation of variance analysis, comparing to previous year, budget, and forecast.
- Maintenance and update of the Fixed Asset Register, including review and coding of CAPEX and processing of monthly depreciation journal.
- Quarterly VAT return process for three companies, ensuring accurate and timely submission to HMRC.
